Day 1: Creating A Website Name

This is the first process in building a successful website, coming up with a title for your website, which is known as the domain name or web address. If you want people to find you, your website name plays a key role when it comes to the search engines. Remember, about 70% of people who come on the internet find new websites through search engines. So if you want to be found among the many websites on the internet, you have to come up with an effective name for you website. Here are some things to remember when creating a name for your website:

1. Include your Website theme in the Title (for example, if my new website was about racing cars, i would probably name my site something like www.superfastracingcars.com. As you can see, i included my theme words in the title, which is racing cars. Not all the titles you come up with will be available,that means someone took it already, but dont worry, just come up with a new creative title with your theme word(s) in it, this will come in handy for search engine optimization)

2.Easy Spelling
(try to spell the words in your title the way they are naturally spelled. Spelling the words in your domain name in an unusual way can cause people to forget your web address. And remember, if that happens, the only person that's gonna be coming to your website is you. Sorry, but thats exactly how it is.)

3.Your Website Name Should be Easy to Remember
(If you want your visitors to keep coming back for more, they have to be able to remember your website address. So, the best way to do this, is to keep your website name simple. Come up with a name that you think would be easy for people to remember, and that should do the trick.)
